Product Designer & Leader

Lead Product Designer based in Lille, with a background in retail before product. I design B2B and B2C applications, built for the people who use them every day.

Purse

Reorganising the design team

One designer carried the whole back office. I split the work by journey.

From mess to product

Orders taken over the phone, transfers to justify, spreadsheets on version 3: business problems rarely arrive tidy. I sort, I make the call, and I turn them into clear journeys with a measurable effect.

A project is judged by its calls

From the first interview to production, four stages. Each one serves a decision I can defend.

  1. Frame

Understand the ground before the screen: who decides, on what data, under which constraints.

I created the discovery framework used by every product team.

  2. Explore

Several routes, prototyped fast, put in front of real users early.

On the back office: two navigation models tested, by entity or by feature.

  3. Decide

Name the tension, choose, and carry the choice to the team and leadership.

One product, two uses: entity-based navigation internally, feature-based for merchants.

  4. Measure

Check what the decision produces in the real world, then remove whatever adds nothing.

100% of the users tested adopted the new navigation (5/5).

WHAT MAKES ME DIFFERENT

The ability to say no

A request is rarely the solution. I challenge it, then go and find the right one with benchmarks, expertise, analysis and user research. Saying no only holds when you come back with the evidence and a better route.
